Analisa Pemanfaatan Harmonisa Sebagai Sumber Energi Alternatif dengan Filter Pasif

Abstract


A three phase induction motor usually uses an inverter to adjust the speed. In the inverter there is a full wave rectifier circuit that produces harmonics. This rectifier circuit generally uses a six pulse converter. Filter installed to reduce the harmonics. In this paper, LC filter used to reduce the 5th and 7th harmonics. This research aims to analyze utilization of the harmonic as a source of energy by replacing the  inductor (L) component of the filter with a transformer. Harmonic currents will induce the transformers and generate voltage on secondary side which can be use as source of power. The simulation of PSIM results the generated output power of the transformer is 138 Watts. The power quality rise from 0.955 to 0.967 and the magnitude of THD drops from 21.2% to 7.1%.

Abstrak

Motor induksi 3 fasa biasanya menggunakan inverter untuk mengatur kecepatannya. Dalam inverter terdapat rangkaian penyearah gelombang penuh yang menghasilkan harmonisa. Rangkaian penyearah ini umumnya menggunakan konverter 6 pulsa. Untuk mengurangi harmonisa tersebut, maka dipasang filter. Pada makalah ini filter yang digunakan adalah filter LC untuk mereduksi harmonisa ke-5 dan harmonisa ke-7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pemanfaatan harmonisa tersebut sebagai sumber energi dengan cara mengganti komponen induktor (L) dari filter LC dengan sebuah transformator sehingga arus harmonisa akan menginduksi tegangan kesisi sekunder transformator dan selanjutnya bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber daya. Dari hasil simulasi PSIM dihasilkan daya keluaran transformator sebesar 138 Watt. Perbaikan kualitas daya semula 0,955 naik menjadi 0,967 dan besar THD arus harmonisa turun dari 21,2% menjadi 7,1%.
