The Use of Instrumentation Amplifiers and Voltage-to-Current Converter In a Process Control : Simulation and Implementation

ln this research, a simulation and an implementation of using instrumentation amplifiers and voltage-to-current converter for process control has been conducted. The process variable being measured is the differential pressure that is sensed by a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensors. The output from the sensors was the amplified and fed to the voltage-to-current converter for transmission purpose. Once the current signal gets to the place where it is to be used, it is converted back again into a voltage.
