Permitted Uses for Authors

Authors may deposit and use their work under the following conditions:

• On a personal website
• In a company or institutional repository
• In subject-specific repositories preferred by the author
• On Social Collaboration Networks (SCNs) that comply with the Voluntary STM Sharing Principles
• For personal use within an author’s institution for teaching and training
• As part of an author’s grant applications or theses/doctorate submissions

Exceptions to This Policy

The following uses are not permitted:

• Systematic uploading or collation of JNTE's articles across repositories
• Use of documents in advertising
• Use of documents for promotional purposes by for-profit organizations
• Any use that involves monetary reward, commercial gain, or commercial exploitation
